THANK YOUS

This is dedicated in memory of my parents Reverend Eddie Porter and Ora Porter, and the greatest promotional genius, Roy “Mr. Malaco” Wooten. Also to Eddie “Spanky” Alford and Michael Cook of The Mighty Clouds of Joy.

I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is so awesome in how he turned the state of my life and health around.

To my family: I appreciate you all for supporting me during this process and through the trials that I faced.

To my wife of 14 years, Wendy, it's been a long road. Thank you for your support through those years. Let's continue to go forward. To my daughters, Tia and Tiffany, you’re my pride and joy. Thanks for letting Daddy spend so much time away from home doing this. I’ll make up for it, I promise. Love, Daddy.

To my immediate family, my in-laws, my brother, and those who are aware of my struggle, Track 3 is dedicated to you.

To my Brother, you've pushed me to do this project, and I greatly, greatly appreciate you for that. I'm sure that you will reap the seeds you've sown. I'm so excited, I'm crazy. Ha ha ha.

To Bishop Nathaniel Bond and family: Thank you for being there. I’ve been busy but we’ll still be in touch. Love you, man.

To my spiritual counselors: My Pastor Frank E. Ray and my church family New Salem Baptist Church, Pastor and Co-Pastor Timothy Blackmon and Cynthia Blackmon, Bishop Chaney and the Believers House Family, Pastor M.J. Williams, and Pastor Carl Hunter, thanks for your guidance.

To my Music Director, Derrick Lee: We have over 20 years working together. Derrick, you’re phenomenal and I never doubt your judgment. You always strive for excellence. Love you man!

To my friend, Ralph Lofton, I’ll never forget the record you produced for me. We also have over 20 years together, and just like Derrick, I hope you realize that you are a living legend in the music world.

To the All-star Band: Derrick Lee, Ralph Lofton, Alton Hollis, Al Willis, Terry Baker, and Simeon Baker, we’ve done this over and over again but this time you guys went above and beyond. Ya’ll too bad. Love always.

To David Caton, Tony Homer, and Derrick Lee: Thanks for a million jobs that you performed on this project.

Special thanks to the other producers on this project and your talented musicians.

To San Franklin and her singers (get names): You guys are phenomenal. I'll be calling you, San.

To The Christianaires: Thank you for our 30 years that prepared me for this moment.

To Dr. Bobby Jones, Don Jackson, and the Central City Productions Staff: Thanks for believing in me.

To Telisa and Gerry Stinson, we've been here many years. God bless you both. Lisa, you're always my sister. You started this with me and Phil, remember? Hang in there. Hope you like it.

To Debbie May: When are we gonna work together?

To the Bishop Al Hobbs and the entire Announcers Guild: Thanks for playing my music. You are "Radio Angels."

To Bishop Albert Jamison: Not only do you say I make you laugh, but since I've gotten a chance to visit your church, I realize in the kitchen you guys have the best chicken in the world. Now, we're label mates! See you at GMWA.

To my booking agent, Ester Wooten of Exclesisa Enterprises, Inc., thanks for many years of bookings and brownies. Let’s go to Phase 2. I appreciate you. Love you.

To John P. Kee: I’ve never said this before, but in my opinion, you are one of the most well-rounded gospel artists, producers, writer of hits, keyboardists, and vocalist extraordinaire. I'll always admire your talent.

I’d like to give a shout out to Kelly Price, Fantasia (Love You), JB and Focus, Bishop Keith Smith, Bishop Neal Roberson, The Williams Brothers, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Canton Spirituals, New Harvest, The Salem Harmonizers, The Soul Seekers, and many others.

To the fans: I’m a little nervous doing this project since I’ve always had the support of the Christianaires. However, stay with me and I’ll try to make you happy ‘cause I love you for life.

To the Light Records Team, Phil White, Gina Miller, James Robinson, Paul Colson, Ashlie Hinman, Kia Jarmon, Bill Goff, and Glenn Meadows: Wow!! I walked into a family of people that blew my mind. Phil, thank you for believing in me. You've always said that we would work together again. You were right! To James, I couldn't have done this without you. You work so hard and you're awesome at what you do. Thanks a million, man. Gina, I guess it’s travel time. Just keep a bottle of Geritol near me. I have the utmost confidence in you. To Ashlie, the woman of a million jobs, don't leave us now. We need you. To Kia, the one-dimple wonder, keep your super cape and I'll get those road dates to you. To Paul, you're great at what you do, and thanks for the haircut guidance. You saved my life. To all the staff, somebody has to usher me into the internet work. Everybody take turns.
